ABOUT US
The Bun Truck is a gourmet food truck in the Los Angeles-area serving Korean-Mediterranean Fusion. The name is derived from our popular steamed buns and Korean BBQ gyros. Our Chef, James Seok, was trained at the prestigious New York Culinary Institute and has recently worked at New York City’s famed Morimoto Restaurant. What originally started out as an idea between two friends who grew up in the Motor City, has now turned into a full-fledged venture. The Bun Truck represents where we come from, and where we are today. The no-nonsense, gritty city of Detroit we represent, and the sunny, laid-back city of Los Angeles we’ve come to love. Please come try any of our Spicy Pork Gyros, Donkatsu Steamed buns, and Fried Tempura Fries. Our food is cooked to order and made to perfection using the freshest of ingredients and finest of flavors.
